Dr. Andrei Illarionov, Senior Economic Advisor to Russian President Vladimir Putin, discussed the impact of reductions in CO2 on the economies of both developing and industrialized countries which have ratified the Kyoto Protocol.

Illarionov concludes that Kyoto-ism is the most broad-based, the most intrusive and the most aggressive assault on economic growth, fight against poverty, health, environment, biodiversity, public safety, science, and one of the key pillars of origin and progress of the human civilization itself.
